Testimonials

Mills farm is a safe, caring professional facility. We have been to other therapeutic riding facilities and they don't compare. Ms. Rose, Mr. Richard and volunteers approach their instruction from the heart. My son can't wait for his therapeutic lesson every week. He has far surpassed any expectation we've had. Ms. Rose is concise, consistent and gentle with her directions which works for our son. Therapeutic riding forces him to use areas of the brain and body he normally doesn't use- and he has a ball doing it! The FATZ"S

Tiffani's Testimonial Story

"I have fun, Angel is a good horse and she listens to my commands". Mrs.Rose and Mr.Richard the owners and teachers make me feel good to visit, and I have something to look forward to in the morning.

As you listen to the story told by Tiffani you come away with the sense that some thing is working at Mills Farm.

"I have learned how to use my right hand and control a horse."        Tiffani has progressed and developed the use of her right hand due to cerebral palsy.  She has developed a relationship with Angel and the other animals. She has developed technical abilities in her riding and it has helped her in her physical and mental development.

Sheila Elliot (grandmother) was invited to observe Tiffani and feels that the progress has been made that puts a smile on her face."It lifts Tiffani up and put up a smile of achievement on her face."The program at the Mills Farm brings focus

"Bringing children and horses together for the glory of God" is the motto in the brochure

The Mills Farm provides a follow up for for the development of the body and mind. The scenic view of pure country beauty enhances the senses for developmental prosperity and hope.

Highly recommended for for the therapeutic seeker with it's "Riding Lessons,Basic Horse Care and Safety Program, and Pony Birthday Parties,as a part of it's menu of programs, new experiences are provided for both children and parents."

Mills Farm is a wonderful place to learn how to ride a horse. I have been taking lessons from Rose Mills for two years now. The summer camp was a great place to spend a summer and meet new friends. I have always felt safe on any horse there. My horse riding skills have tripled in the last two years. Miss Rose is a caring, loving person that is a horse’s best friend.

As a parent of a horse lover, The Mills Farm is the perfect place to learn how to ride a horse. Rose Mills has always welcomed her riders with open arms, no matter what their riding ability is. She has taught my daughter all the concepts of riding and care of horses. I have always felt comfortable leaving my daughter with Rose for her lesson. She provides a safe learning environment with a kind heart. She will always have our trust and support.

The Mills Farm is a kind and loving environment which is wonderful for our children. Our ten year old loves riding and has learned many skills this year. Our seven year old participated in a recreation program at the farm where she learned how to care for the horses and have safety around horses. She received some riding experiences each time. Our children have grown to love the horses and they have learned that horses are a great deal of work and responsibility. I was looking for a non-competitive riding environment where my daughter could learn to ride without the worries of trying to be better than someone else or feeling inadequate to yet another. We found what we were looking for at the Mills Farm
